2013 Fiat 500 Turbo to Hit Dealerships This Fall
FIAT unveiled its new 500 Turbo last week at an event in California, saying that the turbocharged subcompact offers a middle ground in the Fiat 500 lineup. The 2013 Fiat 500 Turbo has a 1.4-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine, which gives it more horsepower and torque than the base 500’s 101 horsepower and 98 pound-feet of torque, but less than the high-performance Abarth model’s 160 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque.

Fiat 500 Abarth Buyers Put on Wait List
If you were considering buying a 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth, the high-performance version of FIAT’s small car, you’ll have to wait for more to be built. Chrysler Group says in a statement, “Dealer orders for the Abarth … exceeded the production run of this model for the 2012 model year.”

Chrysler Group Will Retire Town & Country and Jeep Compass
Chrysler Group LLC will make some significant changes to its Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and FIAT model lines within the next few years.
The Chrysler Town & Country will end production in 2014, according to Automotive News, and an all-new crossover will take its place.
Automobile Magazine speculates that the minivan’s “replacement will be an upscale crossover that might resemble the Mercedes-Benz R-Class.” When the Town & Country is retired, the Dodge Grand Caravan will be the automaker’s sole minivan.
