Ford Recalls 423,634 Escape SUVs for Faulty Throttle
Ford is recalling 423,634 Escape SUVs in the U.S. from the 2001 to 2004 model years. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, these SUVs, which have a 3.0-liter V6 engine and cruise control, are at risk of their gas pedals becoming stuck.

Ford is recalling 8,266 Escape compact SUVs from the 2013 model year for a problem with the proximity of the carpet padding to the brake and gas pedals. Ford Recalls Escape, Freestar and Mercury Monterey
Ford is recalling minivans and SUVs in the U.S. for issues that could cause power loss or a potential fire hazard. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that certain 2001-02 Ford Escape SUVs might have a brake master cylinder reservoir cap that leaks brake fluid.
