Boss 302 Not in 2014 Mustang Lineup

If you’ve been thinking a new Ford Mustang Boss 302 might look good in your garage, you'll want to act sooner rather than later. This year is the last model year for the Boss. Autoweek reported this in November 2012, citing the 2014 dealer order guides. The Boss 302 is a more performance-oriented version of the Mustang GT, with a 444-horsepower variant of that car’s 5.0-liter V8 and a retuned suspension. It is available with a ... continue reading»

Test drive: Ford Mustang Boss 302

Jim just finished a week in the Camaro SS convertible, and concluded that he’d prefer the Ford GT. After my test week in the Ford Mustang Boss 302, I can say that while the Boss is, well, boss, the Camaro is still the car for me. On paper, the Boss and the Camaro are about even. The Boss has 444 horsepower at 7,400 rpm, while the Camaro has 426 at 5,900 rpm. On the other hand, the ... continue reading»
