Nissan Juke, Ford F-Series Trucks Recalled

Nissan and Ford are recalling a total of 44,385 vehicles, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. 2011 Nissan Juke Nissan has red-flagged 2011 Juke models for a turbocharger boost sensor bracket that could come off. NHTSA says that if the bracket comes off, the Juke could stall when it isn’t supposed to. If your Juke is affected, dealers will inspect and replace the bracket for free. Ford Recalls 1.1 Million Trucks for Gas Tank Problem

Ford is recalling 1.1 million trucks for a problem with the gas tank’s assembly. In cold weather states, road deicing chemicals exposed to the trucks over time could cause severe corrosion of the straps that secure the fuel tank to the truck, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports. Ford Recalls More Than 20,000 Trucks and SUVs

A defective switch that could cause brake lights, tail lights and turn signals to fail is responsible for the latest recall on Ford trucks and SUVs. “The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said today on its website that the recall affects certain 2004 through 2011 Ranger pickups, 2002 through 2005 Excursion SUVs, and 2002 through 2007 F-250, 350, 450 and 550 trucks,” writes The Detroit News.
