A Dealer Near You May Stop Selling the Volt

Some Chevrolet dealers have chosen to stop selling the Chevrolet Volt because General Motors increased the price of Volt service tools. The decrease in Volt dealers could make it harder to find a Volt or force owners to travel further for service, particularly in rural areas. GM Recalls 250,000 SUVs for Fire Risk

General Motors has announced a recall of 249,260 SUVs because a faulty electrical system in the driver’s door could cause a fire. The recall includes the 2006-2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer and GMC Envoy, and some models of the Buick Rainier, Saab 9-7X and Isuzu Ascender from the same model years. Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL models from the 2006 model year are also included. GM Recalls Chevrolet Cruze for Fire Risk

General Motors is recalling more than 400,000 Chevrolet Cruze cars that pose a risk of catching on fire. About 53,200 Cruzes from 2011 and 2012 could potentially have a loose fuel tank strap, while more than 413,100 of the same models may be leaking flammable liquids. Hyundai Makes Throttle Override Devices Standard on All Models

Hyundai is now equipping all of its vehicles with a brake pedal electronic throttle override system. GM Will Honor Certain Saab Warranties
