Small Cars Earn Top Safety Ratings
The 2012 Honda Civic and Hyundai Elantra earned the highest overall safety rating of five stars from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. In addition, the 2012 Nissan Versa was recently named a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

Honda Civic Natural Gas Named 2012 Green Car of the Year
Green Car Journal awarded its Green Car of the Year Award to the 2012 Honda Civic Natural Gas at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week. The natural gas-powered Civic is the only factory-built car in the United States to run on the alternative fuel, Honda says in a press release.

Honda Civic Loses Consumer Reports Recommendation
Consumer Reports is not recommending the 2012 Honda Civic LX due to its low test scores. Consumer Reports says, “The new Civic feels insubstantial with a cheap interior. You don’t get much feature content for the $19,405 that our Civic LX automatic costs, either.”
