Recall: A Hitch in the Honda Element

Honda is recalling 5,216 Element SUVs from the 2007 to 2011 model years. In a press release, the automaker says that when a trailer is attached to the Element, its turn signals may not work because the trailer hitch’s wiring is incorrect.  The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the trailer turn signal lights only work when the brake lights are on. Honda Voluntarily Recalls 1.5 Million U.S. Vehicles

Honda is voluntarily recalling about 1.5 million U.S. vehicles to update software that controls the automatic transmission. If you own a 2005 to 2008 Honda Element, 2007 to 2010 Honda CR-V or four-cylinder Honda Accord from the 2005 to 2010 model year, you may be included in this recall. Honda says in a statement only certain vehicles are affected. Apparently, the affected vehicles may suffer from a transmission malfunction in certain situations.
