Want to look smarter and richer? Buy an electric vehicle. A new survey says that electric car owners tend to be wealthier and better-educated than the average American driver. A study by the Electric Vehicle Information Exchange surveyed 970 respondents, most of whom reported some interest in electric vehicles. Once Labor Day has passed, gas prices tend to decrease. However, TIME reports that national gas prices are hovering around $3.84 a gallon in many states. Most Hybrid Owners Switch Back to Conventional Cars
