GM Recalls 250,000 SUVs for Fire Risk

General Motors has announced a recall of 249,260 SUVs because a faulty electrical system in the driver’s door could cause a fire. The recall includes the 2006-2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer and GMC Envoy, and some models of the Buick Rainier, Saab 9-7X and Isuzu Ascender from the same model years. Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL models from the 2006 model year are also included. Mercedes-Benz M-Class Recalled for Possible Sticking Gas Pedal

Mercedes-Benz is recalling about 8,675 M-Class SUVs from model years 2012 and 2013 due to an all-season floor mat that may not fit properly. In some cases, this could cause the gas pedal to stick and could make the SUV accelerate unintentionally. Mercedes-Benz hasn’t said whether any injuries have been reported. 2013 Nissan Pathfinder Details Announced

Nissan announced more information Friday about the all-new, redesigned 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. While the outgoing 2012 model is a traditional truck-based SUV with an optional V8 engine, the new Pathfinder is a unibody crossover that comes with front-wheel drive. 2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE Priced Less Than Mustang Boss 302

Chevrolet announced over the weekend pricing information for some of the 2013 Camaro’s performance trims. The 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 convertible will start at $59,545, according to Autoblog, and Chevrolet says the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE will start at $36,135. Both prices exclude a $900 destination fee. 2013 Ford C-MAX Energi Range Announced

Ford announced Friday that its 2013 Ford C-MAX Energi, a plug-in hybrid car, will have a battery-only range of “more than 20 miles” and a total range of 550 miles.
