GM Under Federal Investigation Following Ignition Switch Recall

GM Renaissance Center General Motors may have known about faulty ignition switches in some of its small cars earlier than it originally reported. In documents published by the federal government’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Wednesday, the automaker said a 2001 report acknowledged a problem with the ignition switch during pre-production testing of the Saturn Ion. Honda Insight Reaches End of the Road

2014 Honda Insight The Honda Insight hybrid will no longer be made after this month, according to Bloomberg. 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt General Motors issued a recall last week covering 619,122 Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 cars in the U.S. for a problem with their ignition switch. Software, Electronic Glitches Cause Toyota Recall of Almost 1 Million U.S. Vehicles

2012 Toyota RAV4 Toyota is voluntarily recalling about 960,000 vehicles in the U.S. for software and electronic circuit issues.
