Mercedes-Benz is recalling about 8,675 M-Class SUVs from model years 2012 and 2013 due to an all-season floor mat that may not fit properly. In some cases, this could cause the gas pedal to stick and could make the SUV accelerate unintentionally. Mercedes-Benz hasn’t said whether any injuries have been reported. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the problem was identified in a Mercedes-Benz facility by an employee.
