The Mitsubishi i electric car is now the most fuel-efficient car sold in the United States, according to the EPA and the Department of Energy. Honda Civic Natural Gas Named 2012 Green Car of the Year

Green Car Journal awarded its Green Car of the Year Award to the 2012 Honda Civic Natural Gas at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week. The natural gas-powered Civic is the only factory-built car in the United States to run on the alternative fuel, Honda says in a press release. Ford Accepting Orders for Focus Electric

Customers looking to purchase the all-new Ford Focus Electric can finally do so. On Wednesday, Ford announced that buyers can now place their orders by configuring a Focus EV on its website. Ford has not yet said when customers can take delivery of their vehicles. The Focus Electric is priced at $39,200 before destination, which, according to the Detroit Free Press, makes it essentially the same price as the Chevrolet Volt.
