Electric Vehicle Buyers are Younger, Wealthier than Hybrid Buyers, Study Says

2014 Ford Focus Electric A recent study by market research firm Experian Automotive suggests that there are economic and social differences between electric vehicle (EV) and hybrid consumers. The study also found that the sale of electric vehicles is rapidly outpacing the sale of hybrids. Cadillac, Buick Customers Happiest with Dealer Service, Study Says

Cadillac ELR Buick owners are the most satisfied with maintenance and repair services at the dealership, according to a study recently released by J.D. Power and Associates. Volkswagen earned the second highest customer satisfaction rating among mainstream auto brands, followed by GMC and MINI, which tied for third place. Chevrolet, GMC SUVs Top IIHS Crash Test

2014 Chevrolet Equinox crash test The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has recently been putting midsize SUVs through their paces and two General Motors vehicles have emerged as clear winners. NHTSA: Backup Cameras Must Be Standard by 2018

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) declared Monday that there must be "rear visibility technology in all new vehicles under 10,000 pounds by May 2018." NHTSA's ruling includes requirements for the camera's field of view as well as durability, responsiveness and size of the displayed image.
