The Environmental Protection Agency has released fuel economy estimates for the base 2013 Porsche Boxster. The newly redesigned luxury sports car is fitted with an all-new 2.7-liter flat-six engine that produces 265 horsepower, which is an increase of 10 horsepower over the 2012 model. When matched to a six-speed manual transmission, the EPA estimates the Boxster is capable of reaching 20/30 mpg city/highway. It should earn 22/32 mpg with the optional seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Porsche Unveils 2013 Boxster
Porsche rolled out a lighter, more powerful 2013 Boxster at the Geneva Motor Show this week, which also promises better fuel economy than the outgoing model.
