Over 40 new and redesigned cars, trucks and SUVs are being introduced for the 2013 model year. That's more than 15 percent of the 2013 new car market. Recall: A Hitch in the Honda Element

Honda is recalling 5,216 Element SUVs from the 2007 to 2011 model years. In a press release, the automaker says that when a trailer is attached to the Element, its turn signals may not work because the trailer hitch’s wiring is incorrect.  The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the trailer turn signal lights only work when the brake lights are on. Once Labor Day has passed, gas prices tend to decrease. However, TIME reports that national gas prices are hovering around $3.84 a gallon in many states. Hurricane Isaac and plant shut downs in the United Kingdom have slowed production and limited resources, according to GasBuddy.com. Redesigned 2013 Honda Accord Offers Updated Engines and More Features

Specifics on the redesigned 2013 Honda Accord have trickled out slowly, but Wednesday, Honda released detailed features and powertrain information for its midsize car. The Accord sedan goes on sale Sept. 19, while the coupe hits dealerships Oct. 15.
