Saab 9-4X Earns IIHS Top Safety Pick
The Saab 9-4X, a new model for 2011, has been named an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Pick.
The 9-4X earns this award for its standard electronic stability control and for receiving the highest scores possible in front, side and rollover crash tests. The IIHS states that these scores are “based on good performances for its structural twin, the Cadillac SRX,” but that the Institute conducted separate rear impact tests for seating and head restraints.
