Redesigned 2015 Subaru Outback Unveiled at New York Auto Show

Subaru Outback Subaru has officially pulled the wraps off the all-new 2015 Outback at the New York International Auto Show. The automaker says in a press release that the redesigned Outback “offers the roomiest interior, most capable chassis and highest fuel-efficiency in the model’s 20-year history.” The base 2015 Outback 2.5i comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 175 horsepower, while the highest Outback 3.6R Limited features a 256-horsepower six-cylinder engine. 2005 to 2009 Subaru Outback and Legacy Recalled

Subaru is recalling roughly 200,000 Legacy and Outback models because the brake lines could be susceptible to corrosion. Ford, Subaru Issue Recalls

Ford and Subaru have issued separate recalls, impacting 196,500 Ford and Mercury models and 47,419 Subaru models. Ford’s recall applies to 2004 to 2007 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. Subaru Recalls 633,842 Vehicles

Subaru is recalling nearly 634,000 vehicles over potentially faulty wiring of an accessory puddle lamp. The recall affects 2009-2012 Forester models, 2010-2011 Legacy models, 2010-2011 Outback models and 2006-2012 Tribeca models. The puddle lamp illuminates the area under the vehicle doors. 2013 Subaru Models Get Advanced Safety Technology

The Subaru Legacy and Subaru Outback will get optional high-tech safety features for model year 2013 that were previously found only in more upscale auto brands.
