Government Investigates Fires in Chevrolet Trailblazers, Subaru Recalls 2012 Legacy and Outback

The federal government has opened an investigation into Chevrolet Trailblazer SUVs from the 2006 and 2007 model years for a potential fire hazard. Subaru Recalls Cars for Windshield Wiper Problems

Subaru reported last week that it will recall about 195,000 Subaru Legacy sedans and Subaru Outback wagons from model years 2010 and 2011. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the motor that drives the windshield wipers may overheat and stop working, and the resulting reduced visibility could increase the risk of a crash.
