Subaru Forester Recalled For Faulty Seatbelt

Subaru is recalling certain 2009-2012 Forester models for a faulty rear middle seatbelt. The recall affects approximately 275,000 Foresters manufactured from Nov. 26, 2007 through March 13, 2012. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the rear middle seatbelt may not properly lock, which increases the likelihood of a child in a car seat getting injured during a crash. Government Investigates Fires in Chevrolet Trailblazers, Subaru Recalls 2012 Legacy and Outback

The federal government has opened an investigation into Chevrolet Trailblazer SUVs from the 2006 and 2007 model years for a potential fire hazard.
