There Can Be Only One Redesigned 2014 Toyota Highlander

Toyota pulled the wraps off the completely redesigned 2014 Toyota Highlander this morning at the New York Auto Show. The 2014 Highlander will compete against three-row affordable midsize SUVs like the Buick Enclave, Ford Explorer and Mazda CX-9. In addition to completely redesigned exterior styling, the new Highlander also boasts a more spacious interior. Toyota Recalls 2.5 Million Vehicles in the U.S.

Toyota is voluntarily recalling 2.5 million vehicles in the U.S. and 7.43 million vehicles worldwide for a potential safety issue with the power window master switch. NHTSA Investigates More Toyota Models for Fire Hazard

In February, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began investigating Toyota Camry sedans and RAV4 crossovers from the 2007 model year after owner reports of door fires. NHTSA has expanded the investigation, which now includes 2007 to 2009 Toyota Camry, Camry Hybrid, RAV4 and Yaris models. Toyota Highlander Hybrid SUVs from the 2008 model year are also included. Toyota Increases Prices on Six Vehicles

Toyota announced last week that it is raising prices on five model-year 2012 Toyota vehicles and one 2013 Scion vehicle. The MSRP increase ranges from $50 to $270, depending on the model and trim level. The higher U.S. prices will go into effect in May, Toyota says in a statement. Toyota and Lexus Raise Prices on Select Models

If you’ve been shopping for a 2012 Toyota or Lexus, you’ll want to head to the dealership before the automaker raises prices.
