Although gas prices are dropping, AAA predicts fewer Americans will travel this holiday weekend. An estimated “39 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more from home during the Independence Day holiday weekend,” AAA reports. The number of travelers is down 2.5 percent from a year ago.
