2013 Volkswagen Beetle TDI Priced at $24,065
Volkswagen announced pricing this week for the diesel-powered 2013 Beetle TDI, which will go on sale in August. Starting at $24,065 (including a $770 destination charge), the 2013 Volkswagen Beetle TDI will carry the automaker’s 2.0-liter, turbocharged diesel engine, which generates 140 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque. Volkswagen Black Turbo Beetle Now Available for Pre-Order
Volkswagen introduced a new vehicle pre-order program Monday in conjunction with the launch of a special edition 2012 Beetle. In a press release, VW says the 2012 Black Turbo launch edition Beetle will only be available through the pre-order program.

Volkswagen announced pricing on the 2012 Beetle Tuesday, which will go on sale in October. “The new Beetle will start at just $18,995, offering an agile, driver-oriented coupe that respects the Beetle’s past yet looks to the future,” says Volkswagen in a press release.
