Volkswagen debuted R-Line trims for two of its crossover SUVs, the 2014 Tiguan and Touareg, at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit this week.
USA Today says, “The R-Line is basically sportier looks without amping up the horsepower.” The Tiguan R-Line will have the same engine found across the Tiguan lineup, a 200-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, and it gets a sport-tuned suspension and 19-inch wheels.
