Your Next Volvo May Drive Itself

If you’re sick of slogging through bumper-to-bumper traffic, Volvo may soon have a solution to offer. The automaker recently announced that it is developing a traffic jam assistance system that will allow a vehicle to pilot itself in at speeds up to about 31 miles-per-hour. 2013 Cadillac Models Will Receive New Safety Technology

Cadillac is developing new safety technology that will debut in its two new sedans, the 2013 ATS and XTS, which will both go on sale later this year. Study Shows Volvo Safety System Helps Prevent Crashes

The Highway Loss Data Institute released a new study today that examines Volvo’s City Safety system, which the Institute found helps prevent crashes at low speeds. The system, which Volvo’s website explains using a video game-like demonstration, automatically stops the vehicle if a car suddenly stops in front of it.
