Lexus Expands its Pebble Beach Lineup

Lexus unveiled the Pebble Beach Editions of its RX, ES and LS models at the Chicago Auto Show today. "Previously reserved for the SC convertible coupe, Lexus intends to bring the feeling of exclusivity to more of their lineup," writes Trend News. Though the models feature unique exterior and interior trim, Motor Trend's Zech Gale remarks, "The most interesting element of the special editions has nothing to do with the cars." He continues: "Perhaps in an attempt to set apart the Lexus special edition vehicles from other premium brands' limited edition models, each Pebble Beach Edition car will come with your choice of the Callaway Golf Experience, Travel Package, or Epicurean Encounter." While the Callaway Golf Experience refers to golf equipment, the Travel Package is a custom luggage set. Interestingly, the Epicurean Encounter includes a six-piece Viking cutlery set and $200 gift certificate to Viking Cooking School. Trend News adds, "The LS 600h L Pebble Beach edition debuts this fall and includes a luxury travel experience to the resort the package is named after."
