Autoblog reports that Volvo has leaked photos of its upcoming XC60 midsize crossover SUV to the press.  "It's a handsome soft-roader for sure," Autoblog writes, "but we think most Volvos are good looking and yet that doesn't seem to translate into huge sales numbers for the brand."  Carscoop claims "initial engine offerings...will include a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit delivering 285 HP and a 2.4-liter 5 cylinder turbo-diesel available in two versions, with 163 and 185 HP."  According to Edmunds Inside Line, "American customers won't be able to buy one until next spring," but the XC60 will debut to the public at next month's Geneva Auto Show.  In a press release, the company calls the XC60 "not only the safest Volvo ever," but "also the most stunning."  The British auto blog Whatcar notes that the crossover will feature "a 'City Safety' system, which will be standard. It automatically brakes the car if it senses it is about to have a front-end impact and is effective at speeds up to 20mph."  The Auto Channel offers links to photos and "a great XC60 design concept video."
