Kicking Tires reports that Hyundai is working on adding "dual-view technology to the dashboards of its vehicles, allowing the passenger and the driver to view two different displays on the same screen, simultaneously."  The technology behind the concept, which allows one screen to project two different images visible from different angles, has already been developed for the home entertainment industry.  The idea will not make it into 2009 Hyundais, since "the automaker is still perfecting the technology -- likely making sure the screen's image is up to snuff and the price can be somewhat reasonable."  Used inside a vehicle, Jalopnik notes, the technology would allow the driver to "see one image, presumably the navigation or vehicle info, while the passenger of the vehicle would see something different, like media information."
