The 2009 Honda Fit made its production debut today at the New York Auto Show, and Auto123 says the 2009 model looks "unmistakably like the current-generation," but is "bigger in almost every dimension." The passenger cabin is "more spacious, with higher-quality materials as well as a tilt and telescopic steering wheel."
Jalopnik adds, "Notable features are the 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission - the Fit Sport comes with paddle shifters," as well as six standard airbags and a new ACE body structure that is "strong and light to boost safety."
Autoblog says the '09 model has "everything the previous Honda Fit was lacking." The new subcompact features "Honda's voice-recognizing satellite-linked navi; 3-mode, single-motion dive-down Magic Seats in back," as well as "a USB port for MP3 players and another storage bin."

With auto sales on the decline now is the time to get a great deal on a new car. Check out our
