2009 Corvette ZR1 Production Will Be Limited

If you're interested in that new 638-horsepower 2009 Corvette ZR1, you'd better get in line now.  Chevy isn't going to make many of them.

In a live chat on GMNext.com, Corvette Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter announced, "Production will start this summer and we can produce approximately 2000 ZR1s per year for the world." 

Autoblog adds, "on the topic of price gouging by dealers, Juechter said only one thing: 'We're strongly encouraging dealers to charge MSRP.' Good luck on that."
