Honda hasn't provided the press with an official glimpse of the 2009 Civic yet, but that hasn't stopped images from making their way onto the internet.  The automaker mails a brochure about the 2009 model to dealerships for use when the car reaches showrooms later this year, and scanned images have hit the web through a forum at 8thcivic.com.

Autoblog explains, "Up front, the grille is reshaped to align Civic with its Honda brethren and the lower fascia gets a more aggressive three-opening treatment that lets the foglamps be pushed farther outboard. In back, the taillamps retain their shape, but the reverse light detailing is updated."

Jalopnik adds, "Two trim levels have been added: The DX-VP and LX-S, presumably a value and sport package, respectively, helping Civic tweak its price points for broader appeal. The whole thing has an "incremental improvement" quality about it."
