Do you like Transformers? Do you REALLY like Transformers? Do you love the toys of your childhood so much that you'd spend tens of thousands of dollars to look like you had a full-size Transformer? Do you love them so much that you'd be unembarrassed to pretend to drive a real life robot-in-disguise?
Do we have news for you!
Jalopnik reports, "GM's announced to dealers a limited Chevy Camaro Bumblebee Edition will be available to order beginning June 1st. Production will run from June 24th through December. Expected upgrades will be only what meets the eye - rally yellow coloring, black stripes," and Transformers badges "on wheel centers, sill plates and embroidered console lid."
But act quickly. Edmunds Inside Line reports, "The option will be available to order June 1, about a month before ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' arrives in theaters." But the production run is limited, "starting on June 24 and running through December."
Or, if you're a true die-hard autobot fan, perhaps you stay away. After all, Autoblog notes, "Rumor has it that the car will be painted up in the same Rally Yellow that's available on other Camaros - importantly, that's not the darker color that's featured in the movies." Plus, the original Bumblebee wasn't a Camaro -- he was a VW Beetle.
Of course, if Decepticons are more your taste, you can pay $100,000 and get an Audi R8, which is the form Megatron takes in the new film."
And, trust us on this one, buying this car won't win you Megan Fox's attention. The package will be offered on Camaro LT and SS models. Pricing has not been revealed.
